Godzilla as Snow Monster - GT-R dons Blizzaks, runs Nordschleife

All the dumb, fun crap we ever did involving cars and snow while growing up has been rendered fully obsolete by the GT-R freaks at Autohaus Brömmler, who threw a set of Blizzak LM-25 performance winters on their project car and then took it to the snow-covered 'Ring. And here we thought handbrake turns in Dad's old Subaru GL wagon after a fresh snowfall were a gas. Watch through to the end, lest you miss the snowy donut conclusion. Godzilla? Formula Drift Long Beach Highlights Video

Formula D or Formula Drift is my new friend. I have only been into drifting since the Fast the Furious Tokyo Drift movie came out. I know that is ridiculously lame! But anyway, Formula Drift is just awesome to watch because all of the cars are “out of control” but “in control”, if you know what I mean. Ventross tweaks the Nissan GT-R

When the GT-R first found its way into customer hands, Nissan actually included an image in the instruction manual recommending owners not modify their car with oversize spoilers and ridiculous body kits – more for the sake of taste rather than functionality. Naturally this suggestion has been ignored by the aftermarket scene, although for the most part visual tweaks have been rather impressive with the latest kit from Ventross being no exception.
Usually specializing in German cars, America tuning firm Vorsteiner has established the Ventross brand specifically for Japanese offerings, following up last year’s Lexus IS-F with the infamous Nissan GT-R. The package comprises a dry carbon front chin spoiler, new front intakes which funnel air onto the brakes as well as adding downforce, a lighter carbon fibre boot lid with spoiler and rear diffuser in the same material.
The new boot lid alone is almost 50 percent lighter than the standard part which it replaces, meaning the Ventross will outperform a factory GT-R with no engine modifications at all.
Also available are three-piece forged aluminium six-spoke wheels in both 19- and 20-inch packages.

Nissan 370Z Roadster rendering

It will likely take a year for Nissan to replace the full 350Z line with the 370Z, so it won't be until the 2010 model year that the 370Z roadster will be at dealerships. There shouldn't be too many surprises from the design of the ragtop version. Just like the current roadster, the lines will remain relatively the same as the coupe. Nissan 370Z Coupe

It's officially official: the new 370Z is out. As expected, the new Z car is lighter, stronger, shorter and faster than its predecessor. Coupe sales will begin in North America by January 2009, followed by a new 370Z Roadster for the 2010 model year. Exact pricing has not been confirmed, but Nissan says it will remain around $30,000.
